Russell has been singing since the tender age of six in church and community choirs. He picked up playing the piano after praying to GOD and asking him to teach him how to be a true worshipper. From that day foward he has used his talents and gifts to glorify GOD. His songs and style reflect his love and admiration for all genres.
Russell is also a prolific songwriter. His “Worship First” approach intertwines a unique blend of spirit filled arrangements with bible based philosophy. Russell has written numerous songs for projects such as the Bishop Brian D. Moore and the Life Center Conference Choir, Happy Land Singers, Dena Brice, and the list goes on.
Russell was a member of the Charlotte based INNER CITY MASS CHOIR from 1992-1995. The choir was founded and operated by national recording gospel artist Pastor John P. Kee of New Life Fellowship. It was during this time that he received the call and vision for his life. He has also worked with national recording gospel artist Patrick Love from the A.L.Jinwright Mass Choir, and Eric Brice, national recording guitarist.
He is the loving husband of Camille Holmes Harrington and the proud father of three children Daniel, Jordan, and Nichole.
